The Moss Lab investigates how neural circuits in the mouse olfactory system transform sensory data in diverse contexts, giving rise to a range of perceptual experiences that drive appropriate behaviors.
We use a sophisticated arsenal of viral and genetic manipulations, in vivo imaging, electrophysiology, and behavioral assays to map out the function of specific neural circuits from sensory input to behavioral output.
The Moss Lab is located at Oregon Health & Science University on the second floor of Mackenzie Hall in the department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine.
